Lost Actions for Beginners

The use of Lost Actions is not just expected, but required to clear DRs. Make sure you know how they work!
Resistance Reraisers should be used any time you don't have the Reraise buff active. If you come back to life in a dangerous spot like in an AoE or death wall, use the short invincibility to get to safety before using one.
Light Curtains are used throughout the instance to reflect certain AoEs, notably during the Queen's encounter. Healers will need extra for Queen's Guard and Stygimoloch Lord.
Melee DPS: Use Font of Power + Banner of Honored Sacrifice together every two minutes with your job's strongest abilities. If assigned, replace Banner with Rend Armor and alternate uses with the other assigned Rend user to keep 100% uptime.
Physical Ranged DPS: Use Font of Power every two minutes alongside your Dervish if you're the only Phys. Ranged in your party. Multiple Phys. Ranged can instead alternate uses of Dervish to keep the buff up permanently
Magical DPS: Use Font of Magic or Chainspell every two minutes alongside your biggest damage actions. Cure IV should be used any time your party takes damage, as well as at least once a minute to keep the 10% damage buff active. DPS-focused casters can instead use Font of Magic and Chainspell or Banner of Honored Sacrifice together every two minutes alongside their job's strongest abilities.
Healers: Use Chainspell every two minutes, and use Arise to raise dead players. You will also need to use several utility actions, like Steelsting/Spellforge at Queen's Guard and Dispel on several fights. White Mages can replace Chainspell with Seraph Strike, which should be used every minute as soon as it comes up.
Tanks: Use Font of Power + Banner of Honored Sacrifice together every two minutes with your job's strongest abilities. One tank per party will need to replace Banner at Trinity Avowed to give your party Shell II and Aethershield.
